Basalte wins iF Design Award 2021 for two of its products

Basalte's products Miro and Fibonacci won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2021.

Every year since 1954, the iF Design Award has honored outstanding design and its relevance for business and everyday life with one of the most important quality seals in the world.

Miro and Fibonacci won over the 98-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world. The competition was intense: almost 10,000 entries were submitted from 56 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.

About the products

Miro – the only remote you’ll ever need

Miro is an elegant, multifunctional remote control for smart luxury homes. It helps users intuitively control their TV, music, lights, shades, and more around the house. It combines a minimalist design with a high-quality aluminum finish and a well-thought-out usability concept. Miro sets a new standard for a device that billions of people use on a daily basis.

Fibonacci – the new reference

Fibonacci is a design keypad for the intelligent luxury home. Control lights, shades and other technology at the slightest touch. It is a multifunctional, versatile product whose functions can be changed as desired. It is the first light switch worldwide that is inspired by a true, age-old design concept: the golden ratio. Not only the outer dimensions but also the individual buttons and labels are all positioned according to the golden ratio. It's not only easy-to-use, but also a true design statement!
